Sporting Events
Whether you are staging a local, low profile, community sporting event or high profile country or regional sports meeting, there are security issues you need to address.
High attendance events such as these may attract opportunist criminals. Most often these criminals will target the car park for valuables stored in the cars, or they will mingle in the crowd to target spectators by pick-pocketing or targeting unattended valuables such as handbags or purses. Also at risk are sports bags and other expensive sporting equipment.
While all these risks need to be protected against, the event also needs to be organised, in terms of off-limit areas, one-way entrance/exit gates, first aid experience, and support for medical tents/areas.
